The Brooklyn Green Rowhouses are the first "green rowhouses" in the City and are being marketed to low-to-moderate-income, first-time home buyers, for whom it is critical that energy costs be kept as low as possible.

To achieve that goal, the houses will incorporate such energy saving and sustainable features as a "green roof," super-insulated shell utilizing "smart framing" techniques, a high-efficiency mechanical system, and a radiant floor heating system.
